The mission of the College is to promote a well-rounded education for the total development of our students, encompassing moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic aspects. The College believes that each student has worth and is endowed with potential and that the school can and should develop its students to the fullest. The College also believes that every child has talent and this should be nurtured. Each student should also become an effective and independent learner by learning to accept responsibility for his or her learning outcomes.

Founded in 2000, HKMA David Li Kwok Po College[2] has provided bilingual and multicultural education to learners in Hong Kong for almost a decade. As an English Medium of Instruction school, all school subjects are taught in English, except Chinese language for junior forms, which is taught in Putonghua.
By 2010, the College will move on to its 10th Anniversary. The students are nurtured under an authentic English foundation that are created by a team of teachers, from countries such as Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, France, India and the UK. To achieve this aim, the College has maintained a ratio whereby more than 15% of their teaching staff has been recruited from outside of Hong Kong. Furthermore, 97% of its teaching staff possess both a recognized university degree and a teaching qualification.
In 2009/10, the College offers a number of activities, including: Sports: Judo, volleyball, table tennis, football, basketball, cricket, bowling, fencing etc. Music: Violin, clarinet, brass band, percussion, choir, etc. Uniform Groups: Red Cross Recreational: Campus TV, drama, magic, cookery, etc. Academic: English, Maths, French, Geography, Science, Art, Japanese etc.
To further broaden student experiences, the College each year, during holidays and school breaks, organises overseas study tours. To date, their students have enjoyed linguistic and cultural immersion experiences in the UK, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, New Zealand, France and several important world heritage cities within Mainland China.
Established in 1960, the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) is a non-profit making organisation whose core activity is professional education. The HKMA has served the education and training needs of the working population in Hong Kong effectively for over 40 years. With a membership of more than 12,000 executives, HKMA organises more than 2,100 programmes for approximately 48,000 participants annually. Apart from adult education, the HKMA is also concerned with educating Hong Kong’s young future leaders. HKMA David Li Kwok Po College opened in 2000, the second school founded and administered by the HKMA. Its first, HKMA K. S. Lo College is located in Tin Shui Wai. Dr the Hon David K. P. Li GBM GBS JP, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Bank of East Asia Limited, is currently the Chairman of the HKMA.
