Gyula Dobay (born November 18, 1937 in Szeged) is a former freestyle swimmer from Hungary, who competed in three consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 1956.[1]
His best individual result came in 1960, when he placed fifth in 100 m freestyle. Four years later he came seventh in 100 m freestyle and placed sixth with the Hungarian 4x100 m medley relay team.
At the European Championships he won two bronze medals, both in 1958.
