Gwanzura is a football stadium in Highfield, Harare. It is bordered by Mushandirapamwe Hotel, Machipisa council bar, bus station, Jerusalem suburb and by a BP station owned by the Tawengwas. In history, it has been the home ground of CAPS united, Blue line aces and Lions. It hosts CBZ premiership soccer matches. There media reports in February 2008 that indicated that the stadium was in a poor state, with one reporter going as far as to compare it to a harvested wheat field.[1] The Harare City Council is charged with the upkeep of the stadium.

Portia Gwanzura of Hohodza Band; David Gwanzura former CAPS Utd player; Jirvas Munyaradzi Gwanzura who captained Churchill Boys High football team and the Zimbabwe schools. Marcy Gwanzura was also the first lady under Freda Rebecca Mine Cluff Resources in Bundura. She worked for Cluff Resources as an Electrical Engineering Under Grad in 1994 for a year. She qualified and went to work as the First Lady Lift Engineer at OTIS Elevators until 1998 when she left to study in England. Marcy currently works for British Telecomms as an Engineer.
