Gugga Pir (Zehar Pir) The great Indian Hindu was a Rajput warrior-king. He was reputed to have the power to bring the dead to life and cure those suffering from snake bites. He was also referred to as king of snakes. He was reputed to be a disciple of Guru Gorakhnath Ji. He learnt the way of entering and leaving solid earth and was initiated in it by a Muslim Pir Rattan Haji Pir (Sufism)|Pir]], and is worshipped in North India and Pakistan. His shrine is popularly called "Gugga Marhi". Probably there was some relationship between Jhule Lal the great Pir of Sindh and Gugga Pir. He was a great warrior who was never beaten in war but instead of expanding His territories, Gugga Ji just choose to stay content in His own kingdom but defended it vigorously when attacked.
