Guadalupe Elementary School is a public elementary school in the Almaden Valley area of San Jose, California, United States in the Union School District. It teaches grades kindergarten through five. It is located at 6044 Vera Cruz Drive, San Jose, CA 95120.[1]
The school mascot is the Grizzly Bear, with signs announcing the school as the "Home Of The Grizzlies". Previously the mascot for Guadalupe used to be the Trojan. The school newsletter is the Guadalupe Gazette,[2] and is published monthly.
The Guadalupe Home and School Club offers Art Vista, Computer Lab, Music, and Cooking among other supporting activities for the students. The club has funded several major purchases of playground equipment, computer equipment, and software.[3]
Most students who graduate from Guadalupe go on to attend Dartmouth Middle School in San Jose.[4]
