Grünten (also, Watcher of the Allgaeu) is a mountain of Bavaria, Germany. On the summit (called Wickedhorn) is a Gebirgsjaeger-monument, dedicated to the fallen German mountain troopers. Not far from there, on the lower crest, is a radio tower of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation.
The Gruenten is located in the region Oberallgaeu, in south Bavaria, and is one the most notherely mountains of the Allgaeu Alps. At his feet are the municipalities Rettenberg and Burgberg.
