Grocon Pty Ltd is a large Australian construction company based in Melbourne, Australia. It is owned by the Grollo family.

History

Grocon grew from a small family concreting business established by Luigi Grollo in the 1950s, to a major building company in the 1980s with his sons Rino & Bruno Grollo, to today being Australia's leading privately owned development and construction group, headed by Bruno's son Daniel Grollo.

The company has been involved in many landmark towers in Melbourne and Sydney, with a number of projects currently being built in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Completed Projects

In Melbourne, completed projects include 101 Collins Street, 120 Collins Street, Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex, ANZ World Headquarters, Telecom Corporate HeadquartersSECV Project, Rialto Towers and the 300 m Eureka Tower. Grocon developed a $600 million "urban village" in the Melbourne precinct known as Queen Victoria Village.

In Sydney, completed projects include Horizon Apartments, The Peak Apartments, World Tower and Governor Phillip Tower.

Current projects

In Victoria, Grocon is working on CUB 4, part of Carlton Brewery, Swanston Street redevelopment; which is proposed to be over 300 m tall and the tallest building in Melbourne and possibly Australia and the Southern Hemisphere. They are also constructing Elizabeth Street Common Ground (Melbourne, Australia), Government Services Offices in Dandenong and the La Trobe University Bioscience Research Centre.

In New South Wales, 163 Castlereagh Street is presently under construction.
