Griffiss International Airport (IATA: RME, ICAO: KRME, FAA LID: RME) is a public airport located one mile (2 km) east of the central business district of Rome, a city in Oneida County, New York, United States. This airport is publicly owned by County of Oneida.[1] It is located on the former site of Griffiss Air Force Base, which closed in 1995.
Operations from the Oneida County Airport in Oriskany, New York were transferred here in 2006, after which the county closed that airport in January 2007.
