Grassy, Tasmania

Grassy, Tasmania, Australia is nearly a ghost town on King Island in the Australian state of Tasmania. The highest population census in Grassy was at 767 people, in 1971. At the 2006 census, Grassy had a population of 219.[1]

Grassy is a former mining township on King Island in Tasmania. Grassy was a mining township until a mine in the town closed in 1990.[2]
