Geku railway (格库铁路) is a planned railway connecting Golmud and Korla, in China. Construction work is set to begin in the second half of 2011.[1] The railway is scheduled to open in the first half of 2016. The length of the line is 1182.487 kilometers. 501.497 kilometers is in Qinghai province and 680.99 kilometers in Xinjiang. The investment is estimated to be CN¥36.728 billion.
