Goldierocks (Samantha Louise Hall) (born 30 October 1984) is a British DJ, presenter, journalist and producer.

Sam Hall, better known as Goldierocks, was born in Guildford Surrey.[1] She is an only child. Samantha studied at St Nicholas School for girls in Fleet, Hampshire and Farnborough Sixth Form College before moving to London when she was nineteen to study a BA Hons in Drama & Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths College(University of London).[2]
She first went on tour at 16, when she discovered her passion for live music and performance, instigating her career in music journalism.
Samantha now lives in Dalston, East London.[3]
Goldierocks presents the weekly The Selector radio show (July 2009–present)[4] made on behalf of the British Council by Somethin Else. The two hour British, cross-genre, new music show has featured guests such eclectic guests as Calvin Harris, Basement Jaxx, William Orbit, Led Bib, Matthew Herbert, The Noisettes, Fourtet, Toddla T and Bashy. It is available to listen to online [1] on British Airways inflight radio, on itunes and broadcast on FM radio stations in 18 countries around the world including Mexico, Indonesia, Poland and Hungary to an estimated audience of three million listeners.[5]
Goldierocks has also made guest radio appearances on London’s Diesel-U-Music-Radio 87.7FM, NME Radio, Big Brother's Big Ears, the Orange Music Show and as a music critique on British Airways 'Highlife' inflight radio.[6]
Samantha is currently filming Xbox Reverb [2] [7](to be aired on UK terrestrial TV in 2010). An interactive gig experience betweens bands and their fans featuring acts such as Pulled Apart By Horses, Dananananaykroyd, Ellie Goulding and Esser.
Goldierocks has co-hosted Season 1 and 2 (2009) of Red Bull Bedroom Jam alongside Richie T. A live online music show searching for the best in unsigned talent, with a band performing a gig live from their bedroom across the country each week. She will start filming Season 3 this Spring (2010).[8]
Goldierocks has made guest TV appearances on: Transmission [3] Channel 4, Xbox Live, BBC Blast (BBC Three), Jack Wills Varsity Polo 09 Coverage, VBS TV (Vice UK), ASOS.com TV for London Fashion Week.
Sam Hall is one of the stand-in presenters for The Early Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 1, and can be heard on the station whenever Dev is off or standing in for Greg James or Scott Mills .
Goldierocks most commonly works with Aaron Audio [4] (son of Grammy award winning Trevor Horn) on all production and remixes.[9]

Goldierocks started her career as a staff writer for Rockfeedback [6] (2001) intervieiwng such artists at The Killers, Ash and Melissa Auf Der Maur.[11]
Since then she had a monthly Goldierocks column in Spill and UP Magazine throughout 2004 and 2005. She’s written guest articles for Music Week, Logo, the beauty pages, NME, The Pix, fashion zine Phamous 69, official Glastonbury 09 blogger for BEAT show on Bebo and Tamsin Blanchard's “Green Is The New Black” (Hodder, London, 2007).
Goldierocks has spoken at a number of specialist music panels at industry conferences such as In The City,[12] London Calling [13] and as an official Ambassador of British Culture on behalf of The British Council in Budapest, Hungary and Shanghai, China as part of the China 400 Delegation [14] and across Kazakhstan as part of the Eurotronic Projects.
