Matthias Schulze (born 5 May 1984) better known as Silla (formely Godsilla) is a German rapper, who had been signed to label I Luv Money Records. In 2010 Schulze changed his pseudonym "Godsilla" to "Silla" to avoid a lawsuit by Toho, the owners of the rights to Godzilla.[1]

The son of an officer and a secretary, he grew up in a quiet area in Germany. He had an ordinary school training, except that he repeated the tenth class. During his schooltime he met his rap homie King Orgasmus One.
When 2002 the I Luv Money Records founder Bushido left the label, King Orgasmus One and his friend Bass Sultan Hengzt no longer had a studio available for recording available. This problem was solved by Godsilla, who had contact with the Berlin hip hop artist Serk MC. In Serk's studio Bass Sultan Hengzt released his debut album Rap braucht kein Abitur. Godsilla was featured in this album, and had his first appearance in public.
2004 he released his first Solo album Übertalentiert. A year later he released an album with King Orgasmus One Schmutzige Euros.
In 2005 Bass Sultan Hengzt went with Bushido and Saad on the "Carlo, Cokxxx, Nutten 2-Tour". Godsilla was the back-up of Bass Sultan. He also got a guest part on Bushido's Staatsfeind Nr. 1. He also went on two big tours, through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the same year - the "Berlin bleibt hart-Tour" and "Horrorkore-Tour".
On 11. September 2006, Godsilla released his second album, Massenhysterie. It features parts of Massiv, King Orgasmus One, JokA, Serk, Automatikk, Bass Sultan Hengzt and others.
This was followed in 2007 by the Premium Edition of the first album Übertalentiert and Schmutzige Euros 2, with King Orgasmus One.
In the same year he was featured on several albums by his rap colleagues, for example: On Fler's Fremd im eignen Land and Bass Sultan Hengzt's Der Schmetterlingseffekt. In September 2007, he released his third album City of Gold.
From 2 November 2007 until 16 February 2008, Godsilla was King Orgasmus's support on their tour "Es gibt kein Battle!!!". The tour led him through four countries. He also made solo appearances to promote his album.
In August 2008 Godsilla and Fler released the album Südberlin Maskulin, which reached #22 in the charts. The only single was: "Ich bin ein Rapper". This was the most successful release of Godsilla's career. In February 2009, he left his long time label I Luv Money.
