Gochnatia is a genus of flowering plants in the daisy family, Asteraceae. It is named for botanist Frédéric Karl Gochnat. The genus contains approximately 68 species of shrubs and subshrubs, nearly all of which are native to the American tropics. Two species can only be found in the mountains of Southeast Asia.[2]
