Glen Powell

Glen Thomas Powell Jr (born October 21, 1988) is an American actor producer and writer.

Career

Powell began performing in professional theatre with roles in The Music Man, Oliver, O. Henry, and The Sound of Music. He also was part of the award winning performance troupe, the "Broadway Texas Players" from 1999-2003. He has starred in television shows such as Into the West, Jack & Bobby, CSI: Miami, Without a Trace, along with feature films The Great Debaters, The Hottest State, Fast Food Nation, Jumping Off Bridges, The Safe Side, The Wendell Baker Story, and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.[1]

Personal life

Powell was born in Austin, Texas to Glen Sr and Cyndy Powell, and was raised in Austin, Texas before moving to Bel Air, California.

He has two sisters, Lauren Powell, who is older and works in finance in Houston, Texas, and a younger sister, Leslie Powell, who has made a name for herself on the Texas music scene. Leslie is also known for her run as one of two members of the Green Team on hit Discovery Kids Channel show Endurance Fiji.[2] Powell lives in Bel Air working as a filmmaker.[3]. Glen recently finished production on a science fiction action movie that he produced with Nate Parker and starred in with Jesse Williams called J.A.W..
