Giorgos Kalaitzis

Giorgos Kalaitzis (alternate spelling: Georgios Kalaitzis) (Greek: Γιώργος Καλαϊτζής); born August 29, 1976 in Thessaloniki, Greece) is a Greek professional basketball player.

Club career

In his pro career, Kalaitzis has played for Panionios, Olimpia Milano, Panathinaikos, Aris and Panellinios.

Greek national team

Kalaitzis won the gold medal at the 1995 FIBA Under-19 World Championship with the Greek junior national team. As a member of the senior men's Greek national basketball team, he played at the EuroBasket 1997, the 1998 FIBA World Championship, the EuroBasket 1999, and the EuroBasket 2001.
