"Jiubadao", was the song written by Giddens Ko when he was still a senior high school student. The song soon gained popularity among his schoolmates because of its easy lyric and catchy melody. Once when Giddens Ko was taking chemical lessons after school, one of his classmate passed a piece of paper to the teacher. The teacher was surprised to see that there was nothing but a joke signed by "Jiubadao" on the paper and asked who "Jiubadao" was. All the classmates pointed toward Giddens Ko. Thereafter the teacher called him "Jiubadao" and so did the whole class.
