Getting There (album)

Getting There is a 1988 release by John Abercrombie, featuring his working trio of the time, including bassist Marc Johnson and drummer Peter Erskine. Additionally, tenor saxophonist Michael Brecker makes guest appearances on three tracks. The track Remember Hymn has since become a jazz standard, appearing in the Sher Music Co. publication The New Real Book Volume One.
