George F. Tyson was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s who at representative level played for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Oldham, playing at Wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.

At the end of the 1908–09 Northern Rugby Football Union season Tyson played on the wing in Oldham's loss to Wigan in the Championship Final.[1]

Tyson won caps for England while at Oldham in 1908 against Wales, in 1909 against Australia (2 matches), and Wales, and won caps for Great Britain while at Oldham in 1908 against New Zealand, and in 1908-09 against Australia (3 matches).[2]
