Genuity
Genuity is currently an umbrella brand from Monsanto to cover its genetically modified products.[1] Previously, the name was used for a web hosting business owned by Bechtel, which was then sold to the ISP business under GTE in 1997[2] and spun off as an independent company in 2000.[3][4] The company was acquired by and operated under Level 3 Communications between 2002[5] and 2003, when Level 3 exited the hosting business.[6]
