Gene Black (born September 23, 1943 in Arden, North Carolina, USA)[1] is a retired NASCAR Grand National driver who has accumulated six finishes in the top ten in his career in addition to $10650 ($67,231.96 in today's money) in total career earnings.[2] On average, Black began his races in 25th while ending them in 19th.[2] Out of the 6642 laps or 4,562.7 miles (7,343.0 km) of racing in his career, Black was unable to lead a single one.[2] His career lasted three years.[2] Black was a competitor at the 1968 Fireball 300 in addition to other events like the 1966 Southeastern 500, the 1968 Islip 300, and the 1968 Fireball 300.
