Galactites is a genus of 2[1] to 4[2] to 10[3] species of flowering plants in the daisy family. The name is derived from the Greek γάλα (= "milk"). The most well known species is Galactites elegans (All.) Nyman ex Soldano, usually known as galactites tomentosa Moench.
