GLOVIS Co.,Ltd is a logistic company that is headquartered in Seoul, Korea. its predecessor company, Hankook Logitech Co. Ltd was formed in February 2001. It changed its name to GLOVIS in June 2003. GLOVIS is a member company of the Hyundai Motor Group. The company provides ocean transportation, air transportation, inland transportation, logistics consulting, storage, packaging services as well as supply chain management services.[1]

GLOVIS provides total logistics services required in the production and sales of automobiles, including transportation of parts procurement to automobile production plants, after-service parts transportation, Third-Party transportation which delivers export-ready automobiles to local storing centers and seaports, pre-shipment inspections, port processing, and harbor loading and unloading.
Its CKD business, which provides parts for automobiles to overseas factories, is contributing to the productivity of local factories through total services ranging from parts order and packaging to transportation and quality assurance.
GLOVIS’ global logistics network began with the foundation of GLOVIS America in November 2002. Since then, the company has established bases in over 40 countries including the Alabama office in 2003, Slovakia, Australia and Beijing in 2005, European and Indian subsidiaries in 2006, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Georgia (US) in 2007, Russia in 2008, Canada in 2009, and Tianjin in 2010.
Moreover, by entering the ocean transportation business and expanding Third-Party logistics, GLOVIS is establishing the foundation for even greater growth.
GLOVIS won the Korea e-Business Award from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy in 2007 and the Korea RFID Industrialization and Grand Prize in 2008 for its innovations in building RFID-based logistics computerization. GLOVIS also won the Presidential Medal at the 17th Korea Logistics Grand Award ceremony for its contribution in establishing global SCM and modernizing logistics systems.
