History

Based in Taiwan, the G.Skill corporation was established in 1989 by a group of computer enthusiasts. In 2003, the company debuted as a maker of computer memory. The company currently operates through several distributors and resellers in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Memory

G.Skill is known for its wide range of DDR, DDR2[1] and DDR3[2] computer memory. RAM is available in both single channel, dual channel, triple channel and quad channel packs for desktops as well as laptops.

Solid-state drive

On May 12, 2008 G.Skill announced its first SATA II 2.5" solid state drives (SSDs) with 32GB or 64GB of capacity. [3]

The company has also produced flash cards in several formats including Secure Digital and Multimedia Card in addition to high capacity USB 2.0 flash drives.
