From the Age of Doublethink is the 7th studio album from The Deadweights, released on February 5, 2008. The album was recorded in September 2007 and is produced by Bill Stevenson (The Casualties, Black Flag, NOFX). White Jimmy has called it "the most political Deadweights album to date".
The album title and many of the songs' lyrics feature references to the George Orwell book Nineteen Eighty Four.
The album's first single is "Army Ants", and was released to radio on January 1, 2008.[2]
The album sold 22,730 copies in the US in its first week, debuting at #29 on the Billboard Top 200.
