Freddy Hernandez Gomez (born March 23, 1979 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico) is a Mexican boxer in the Welterweight division. He is the current WBC Latino Welterweight Champion.[1]

Hernandez beat Damian Frias (16-1) in a one-sided 10rd decision to win the WBC Latino welterweight title.[2]
On February 2, 2010 he Knocked out DeMarcus Corley in the 5th round to defend his WBC Latino Welterweight title.[3]
On November 27, 2010 Hernandez lost a fight against the WBC Welterweight Champion Andre Berto on HBO.[4]
