Frans Francken III (1607, Antwerp – 1667, Antwerp), was a Flemish Baroque painter and well known member of the Francken family.
According to the RKD he was the son of Frans Francken II and Elisabeth Placquet and became a master in the Antwerp Guild of St. Luke in 1639.[1] He is known for genre works and portraits, and painted staffage in the works of Pieter Neeffs I and his son Pieter Neeffs II.[1] He became the teacher of Carstian Luyckx, and Jan Baptist Segaert.[1]
