Forset is a village in the municipality of Gausdal, Norway. Its population (SSB 2005) is 637.
Located by the river Gausa a few kilometres west of Follebu and Segalstad bru, Forset was the administrative centre of the former municipality Vestre Gausdal, now a part of Gausdal.
