Currently Sky Sports hold the exclusive rights to show 92 games a season (packages A, B, E and F), ESPN have the rights to 46 games (packages C and D).^[1]

From August 2010 to 2013, Sky Sports has 115 games (packages A, B, C, E, and F), ESPN has 23 games (package D).^[2]

• Football League Championship & Football League Cup: BBC and Sky Sports 2009 until 2012. The BBC will screen 10 games from the Championship throughout the season with Sky Sports showing around 60-70 live games.^[3]

• FA Cup*: ITV 1st, 3rd 4th picks Rounds 3 to 6 (part contract) until 2012^[4]

• England team: ITV until 2012

• FA Community Shield: Sky Sports until 2012. Highlights on ITV Sport, the FA Women's Cup: Sky Sports until 2012.^[5]

Northern Ireland

• Carling Premiership will be screened live on Sky Sports (6 Live games a season), highlights are shown on BBC Sport and UTV.^[6]

• Northern Ireland home games are screened on Sky Sports up until 2012 with the BBC showing highlights.^[7]

• Away games will be shown by BBC Sport after the collapse of Setanta in the United Kingdom.

Scotland

• Scottish Premier League: Sky Sports & ESPN until 2012. BBC Scotland show highlights until 2012. BBC Alba shows delayed coverage of Saturday game. BT Vision shows one fixture each weekend using their 'On Demand' service.

• Scottish Football League: BBC Alba has to deal to show one game per month (February-April) in 2009 plus subsequent end-of-season play-offs^[8]

• Scottish Cup: Sky Sports (BBC Scotland highlights & live coverage of the final and two other matches from round three onwards.) until 2014^[9]

• Scottish League Cup: BBC Scotland shows one match from each round, Round Four to Final inclusive

• Scottish Challenge Cup: BBC Alba shows one Semi-Final and the Final

• Scotland team: Sky Sports and BBC Scotland until 2014^[10]

Wales

• Welsh national football team : Sky Sports and BBC Wales.

• Welsh Premier League: S4C has weekly highlights and several live matches and the Welsh Cup: S4C has round-by-round highlights, but carries semi-final and final live.^[11]

Other

• Bundesliga will be shown by ESPN (UK) until 2014 with up to 5 Live games per week.^[12]

• La Liga: Sky Sports until 2012, usually 4 Live games per week.

• Eredivisie: ESPN (UK) sometimes 1 game a week.^[13]

• Major League Soccer: ESPN (UK) 10 games featuring Los Angeles Galaxy and at least 5 games from the play-offs.^[14]

• Portuguese Liga: ESPN (UK).^[15]

• Russian Premier League: ESPN (UK) 1 game per week.^[16]

• Serie A ESPN (UK) up to 80 Live games per season.^[17]
