Flutemazepam[1] is a drug which is a 3-hydroxy benzodiazepine derivative that has hypnotic and anxiolytic properties. It is most closely related in structure to lormetazepam and is indicated for the treatment of insomnia.[2] Flutemazepam has properties similar to temazepam, and it has been found to be very effective for the treatment of severe states of anxiety, panic attacks, and severe insomnia.[3]
