Flinders is a new railway station proposed on the CityRail South Coast line in New South Wales. It would replace Dunmore (Shellharbour) railway station (though not Dunmore crossing loop). The new station is closer to new residential development around the suburb of Flinders. By comparison, Dunmore has and continues to have very little residential development. Preliminary works commenced in 2011 and the station is expected to open in 2014.[1]
The station will include two side platforms with lifts for easy access. A bus interchange and a commuter car park will also be provided.[1]
