Fladbury is a traditional English village located in rural Worcestershire, England. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book, almost 1,000 years ago. It is sited on the banks of the River Avon, with many interesting and original buildings and features. Cropthorne village is on the opposite bank of the Avon. The two ancient communities are linked by the Jubilee Bridge.
Fladbury Mill was owned by the Crabtree Family and has been restored by its current owners, Mr and Mrs Wynn. It houses a mini hydro power system based on a water turbine and water wheel, as well as a well equipped workshop.
A voluntary aided Church of England First School provides education to around 85 children aged 4 to 10. A September 2007 Ofsted inspection accorded the school a Grade 2 (good).[1]

Fladbury Walkabout and Festival, run over a weekend in mid-July (9/10 July in 2011), has villagers opening their gardens and includes a Flower Festival, boat trips, children's events, stalls, vintage cars, a brass band, a Music Festival in the church on the Saturday evening and a Fun Run on the Sunday afternoon.
The American artist John Singer Sargent, visited Fladbury in 1889. His painting, 'Two Girls with Parasols at Fladbury', is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
