The Fiducia IT AG (lat. Fiducia = "trust", "reliability") is the largest IT services provider in the cooperative financial system in Germany. The core business of the Fiducia Group is the provision of IT services for credit unions (i.e. "Volksbanken" and "Raiffeisen" banks) and enterprises in the financial grouping as well as for private banks. You earned in fiscal year 2007 sales totaling approximately €692 million. The Fiducia operates 770 banking applications for banks (as at June 2010).

Fiducia has its headquarter in Karlsruhe-Durlach and a branch office in Munich.

Among those who developed standard solutions include banking software agree, a total and integrated multi-client capable Bank (software) solution. Since 25 June 2007 Fiducia has supervised the "Volksbanken" and "Raiffeisen" banks, making it the most widely used banking system in Germany.

By the Fiducia developed and supervised banking system agree is a modular total banking procedures on the basis of the former NBS banking system and emerged in the wake of the consolidation of systems GEBOS predecessor, cooperatives and RUBIN. To mark the Fiducia agree counts not only the backend systems in the computer system and the front end "job bank agree" (agree BAP) to Java Web Start technology but also other services and software products. This includes both additional application programs such as COSMOS, analyzes and agree VR Control as well as training and offers training for bank employees.

Internet & Telephone Services VR-Web

The Fiducia is also the operator of the Internet service provider VR-Web. VR-Web is an online service for home users. The main target group of VR-Web are customers and employees of economics and Raiffeisen banks and other cooperative institutions. VR-Web offers Internet access with different rates, including both time, as well as volume and flat-rate tariffs. By offering VR-Web phone also offers the Fiducia tariffs for telephone calls to landline.

Giropay

Together with the Postbank, the Star Financial, and the GAD is the founder of Fiducia giropay GmbH, suppliers of homonym online payment process. The Fiducia is also, together with GAD, for the technical and operational implementation of the payment procedure for the cooperative banks.

Printing und Mailing

The Printing and mailing services include the Fiducia individual pressure and Kuvertierleistungen including shipping, electronic signature, archiving and invoice receipt processing.

As of 31 December 2006 Fiducia operates for 1,300 customers

In 2006, approximately 154 million pages (including bank statements) and 118 million printed letters enveloped and sent.
