The iron bamboo (Ferrocalamus strictus) is a species of mountain bamboo. The genus Ferrocalamus is monotypic. Endemic to China, the plant is known uniquely from Yunnan's southern areas, from 900 to 1,200 m above the sea level.
The genus Ferrocalamus is sometimes considered a synonym of Indocalamus. However, Ferrocalamus is arbor-like while Indocalamus is a shrub.
