Ferdinand T. Yahr

Ferdinand T. Yahr was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate.

Biography

Yahr was born on December 17, 1834 in Germany.[1] He moved with is family to the United States in 1849, settling in Watertown, Wisconsin. Yahr later lived in Berlin, Wisconsin, Waupun, Wisconsin and Princeton, Wisconsin. In 1861, he married Amelia C. Schaal. They would have ten children.

Career

Yahr was a member of the Senate from 1891 to 1893.[2] He was also a presidential elector for the 1892 presidential election. Yahr was a Democrat.
