Dr. Cat
Dr. Cat (born David Shapiro[1]) is president, co-founder, executive producer and creative director of Dragon's Eye Productions.[2] He is best known for creating the 2003 Independent Games Festival finalist[3] MMORPG Furcadia with game artist Talzhemir. In the game Furcadia his character goes by the name "Felorin".
He has worked (in various capacities) for Origin,[1] Electronic Arts, Accolade, Microprose, Apogee, and Time Warner Interactive, among others. Notable titles he has significantly contributed to include the Ultima series [1] and DragonSpires. A Dr. Cat character exists in some Ultima games, notably as a bartender in Ultima V.
Dr. Cat lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, California and currently works at Lolapps, Inc..
