Fare basis code
A fare basis code or FBC specifies the rules of an airline's fare. Fare codes starts with a letter followed by optional letters and digits[1].
Booking codes
- R: supersonic, formerly Concorde only, used now some A380 suites & UA upgrades[2].
- F: first class
- A: discounted first class
- J, C: business class
- D, I, Z: discounted business class
- W, T premium economy class
- B, H, K, Y: economy class
- L, M, N, Q, T, V, X: discounted economy class
