Fantasilandia

Fantasilandia is a Chilean amusement park. The park opened in 1978 and is located in a corner of the O'Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile.

On January 28, 1978 the park opened for first time with only 8 attractions like the "Galaxy" coaster, "Mansion Siniestra", "Ford T", "Century 2000", among others. As the years goes by the park has been replacing its classic rides with ultimate generation rides like the Top Spin, Xtreme Fall, Boomerang, and others.

Late 2007 Fantasilandia opened the new ride that replaces the old "Splash". Its called the "Tsunami" (Shoot the Chute) and was built in Chile under licence of Intamin A.G of Switzerland. With this milestone the park began the celebration of its 30 years. Also opened "Villa Magica" in the Kids Zone. Its located next to the "Cine Magic 3D" and more fast food locations. In 2008 Fantasilandia opened the second Vekoma SLC in Southamerica, it is called "Raptor" and cost about US$10.000.000.- In 2009 opened three new rides for the Kids Zone area. The Rockin' Tug (like a mini Disk'o) and Toing & Boing y Buggy Jump, all of them made in Italy by Zamperla. In late 2010 the Wave Swinger (typicall flying chairs) made by Zierer was opened and it is called "Volare"
