Fair Observer [1] is a multimedia, multidisciplinary, multinational online platform that provides analysis of issues, events, and trends of global significance, started in 2010. In that regards, it is a blend between The Economist, BBC, Al Jazeera English, and Die Zeit.
Unlike other organizations that are dominated by a single worldview, Fair Observer claims to provide a plurality of perspectives. Hence, its unique feature is the so-called "360° View" of the world. A recent example of their 360° View is the analysis[2] of the 2011 UN vote on Palestinian statehood: there were Israelis, Palestinians, and others writing on the topic, thus giving a more complete picture than many traditional mainstream media.
