Faegre & Benson was established in Minneapolis in 1886 as Cobb & Wheelwright. As a full service law firm, Faegre & Benson provides legal counseling and litigation to a wide range of practice areas. Faegre & Benson provides legal assistance primarily to large multi-national companies, but is also a member of two consortia of law firms that provide access to a national and worldwide network of commercial lawyers: US Law Firm Group and The World Law Group.
