Fabrice Taylor (born 1972) is a journalist who reports on business and investment activities for print, radio and television media.
Taylor began his career at the Globe and Mail in 1995. He moved to the Toronto Star in 1997 where he worked as an assistant business editor for three years before returning to the Globe as a columnist.[1] He is currently the editor of The Globe and Mail's Vox column[1] and he writes for Report on Business Magazine and Globe Investor Magazine. Taylor also writes the Prairie Trader column for Alberta Venture magazine.
In August 2003 with the help of several anonymous backers, Taylor purchased the Ottawa edition of Frank from its owner and publisher Michael Bate. Taylor moved the magazine to Toronto and relaunched it.[2] However circulation dropped considerably and the last issue was published on December 3, 2004.[3][4] Taylor sold the defunct Ottawa edition of Frank back to Bate in 2005 and it has been relaunched from Ottawa with online issues beginning on September 27 and print issues in late November 2005.
Taylor earned his chartered financial analyst in 2003[1] and works as an equity analyst with a Calgary-based firm.
Taylor was born in Edmonton, Alberta and is a graduate of the University of Alberta and the journalism program at Ryerson University.
