Fabian Jackson

The Rt Fabian Menteath Elliot Jackson was an Anglican Bishop in the mid 20th century . Born on 22 November 1902 he was educated at Westminster School and the University of London.[1] Ordained in 1927[2] he was successively a Curate at St Augustine’s, Kilburn, Priest in charge at Northolt Park and Vicar of All Saints, Clifton before his elevation to the Episcopate as Bishop of Trinidad. In 1949 he returned to England as Rector of Batcombe, Somerset – a post he held until retirement in 1967. He died on 16 July 1978.[3]
