Forever the Sickest Kids is an American pop punk band from Dallas, Texas, who have yet to be signed to a new label after the closure of Universal Motown Records. In issue 228 of Alternative Press, the group was named the number one underground band in the "22 Best Underground Bands". Their first EP, Television Off, Party On, was released on July 3, 2007. Their debut album, Underdog Alma Mater, was later released on April 29, 2008. The first part of their new three-part mini-LP (a collection entitled 3P), The Weekend: Friday, was released on November 17, 2009, with their newest, self-titled album released on March 1, 2011.

While browsing PureVolume, lead singer Jonathan Cook accidentally spent $350 that the band did not have to receive a front page placement of a song that they also did not have. For this reason, they went into the studio and wrote "Hey Brittany", then recorded it with their producer Geoff Rockwell in a matter of days. Since it was first posted, "Hey Brittany" has garnered many Internet plays and triggered a bidding war among eight record labels. On April 24, 2007, Universal Motown emerged victorious, and released the band's Television Off, Party On EP on July 3. The releases of The Sickest Warped Tour EP and the [[Hot Party Jams] would soon follow. The band's first single, "Whoa Oh! (Me vs. Everyone)", was released on April 20, 2008. Their debut album Underdog Alma Mater was later released on April 29, and their second single, "She's a Lady" was released on July 14.
Along with the musical acts Matches and Sonny, The band supported All Time Low and The Rocket Summer on the 2008 Alternative Press tour from March 14 to May 2. The band played with Metro Station, The Cab, Danger Radio and The Maine on their first headlining tour, and later performed on the 2008 Vans Warped Tour. They appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien on June 12, performing their single "Whoa Oh! (Me vs. Everyone)". The band then headed to Tokyo, Japan to perform at the annual Summer Sonic Festival. In late September, the band undertook a brief headlining tour in the UK, after Cobra Starship, the original headliners, post-poned their tour. The band also held the Sassy Back tour throughout October and November with Cobra Starship, Hit the Lights, and Sing it Loud.
In June 2008, it was decided that the band's debut studio album, Underdog Alma Mater, would be re-released as a deluxe edition on July 7, 2009. This deluxe release features the original songs, plus 17 previously unreleased tracks, including demos and acoustic songs.
On April 26, 2009, members of Forever the Sickest Kids, We the Kings, The Tattle-Tales, and several other people were injured in an incident with the Philadelphia Police Department at the Theatre of the Living Arts, a venue the bands played at on the Bamboozle Road Tour. Travis Clark of We the Kings said, "Philadelphia cops just beat us up for nothing!"[3]
The band also played at the 2009 Vans Warped Tour from July 22 to August 26.
On November 17, 2009, the band released the first of what would have been three mini-LPs (a collection entitled 3P) called The Weekend: Friday. The other two parts of the 3P, The Weekend: Saturday and The Weekend: Sunday, were set to be released in the Fall 2010/Summer 2011. The first single from The Weekend: Friday was "What Do You Want From Me?". The music video was released that month.
Forever The Sickest Kids along with We The Kings supported You Me At Six on their sold out U.K. tour that started on March 9, 2010 to the 20th.
The video to "She Likes (Bittersweet Love)" has two prequel videos that tell the story building up to the premiere of the music video, this was the UK's Kerrang! video of the week the week of April 19, 2010.
The boys supported The Downtown Fiction, All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Third Eye Blind, and LMFAO on The Bamboozle Roadshow 2010. Along with numerous other supporting acts, including 3OH!3, Good Charlotte, Cartel, and Simple Plan.
A single from the upcoming album was released on YouTube on June 5, 2010. It is called Keep on Bringing Me Down. Another song leaked, entitled "Get Over Yourself", on YouTube as well.
Forever the Sickest Kids just recently ended "The Summer Camp for the Dope Awesome Kids Tour" which featured The Scene Aesthetic, The Ready Set, A Cursive Memory and Phone Calls from Home.
During October 2010, Forever the Sickest Kids supported Bowling for Soup on their UK and Ireland tour, along with A and The Dollyrots.
On November 25, Jonathan Cook revealed through his newly created Tumblr account that they would not be releasing the new mini-LP The Weekend: Saturday in the foreseeable future. Instead they would be releasing a self-titled album. The band explained their decision with this statement on their Tumblr "We went into the studio with David Bendeth to record 5 songs for our next release of The Weekend: Friday, but whilst we were in the process of pre-production and tracking our band came to an all-inclusive decision that we wanted to record 5-6 more songs and go all out and create another full length album." Cook did not mention anything about the future of The Weekend series. While on the Christmas Pageant Tour with Family Force 5 in December 2010, Jonathan Cook announced that their self-titled album will be released on March 1, 2011. Also while on the Christmas Pageant Tour, the band began to play a new song from the self-titled album called Life of the Party. The band was on Stickam on November 8, 2010, and they leaked a new song "I Guess You Can Say Things Are Getting Pretty Serious" from the album.
On January 10, 2011 Kent Garrison posted on his blog that he was leaving the band.[4]
On February 11, the band released a teaser video[5] for the new album featuring the band performing a new song with no vocal tracks heard. On February 15, a new song entitled "Forever Girl" was released.[6] The album was released on March 1.
In April 2011, Forever The Sickest Kids set out on the headlining "Spring Break Your Heart" tour with Breathe Carolina, We Are the In Crowd, This Century, Tonight Alive and Before Their Eyes.
During the summer of 2011, Forever The Sickest Kids played a series of mall tours including the Zumiez Couch Tour and Simon dTOUR Live.
On September 22,2011 Marc Stewart confirmed on Twitter that he was leaving the band.
In February and March 2012, Forever The Sickest Kids will be set to perform at the Australian music festival Soundwave alongside Madina Lake, Trivium and CKY.
The Bands Self-Titled album has now sold over 125,000 copies in the US alone, placing them in the top 30 rock albums of 2011.
The Band has been rumored to have been in negotiations with Warner Brothers Records, Sony Music Group, EMI, and Redbull.
FTSK released a new single entitled "Shut the Front Door (Too Young for This)" on October 28, 2011.
FTSK released a Christmas Single entitled "Mistletoe is for Quitters", on December 5, 2011.

"Whoa Oh! (Me vs. Everyone)" was featured in commercials for various Nerf products. Also in newer Nerf commercials their new single "Keep on Bringing Me Down" is used. A second version of the song "Whoa Oh! (Me vs. Everyone)" was later released featuring Selena Gomez. Forever the Sickest Kids also aided in putting together her album, Kiss & Tell.
The band was also featured on an episode of Silent Library
"What Do You Want from Me" was used in the end credits of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, was also featured in commercials for various Nerf products, and was released a single on iTunes as "What Do You Want from Me (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Mix)".
More recently, the song "Good Life" from their latest album was used in the newest Nerf and Super Soaker commercials.
In 2009, "Woah Oh! (Me vs. Everyone)" was used in a competion scene of Bring It On: Fight To the Finnish.
