The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH, Festival du Film et Forum International sur les Droits Humains) is a festival held every year in March since 2003, in Geneva, Switzerland, where it faces the UN Human Rights Council's main session, as an independent and outspoken platform which informs, mobilizes and denounces human rights violations wherever they occur. Co-founded and co-directed by Léo Kaneman and Yaël Reinharz Hazan, FIFDH Geneva aims to promote and defend human rights, to underline and debate violations of human dignity, to raise awareness and encourage involvement of the public, by way of a film festival and a forum, bringing together filmmakers and human rights defenders.
