Futebol Clube de Famalicão is a Portuguese sports club, based in Vila Nova de Famalicão in the district of Braga. The club was founded in 1931 and its senior team currently plays in national level in the Portuguese football Federation Third Division Serie B championship. In total the club played six seasons in the Portuguese First Division most notably and recently in 1990 to 1994 were they eventually relegated. It holds its home games at the Estádio Municipal 22 de Junho with a capacity of 15,000 seats. Their current chairman is João Araújo and their current manager is Artur Jorge. Its current sponsor is big Italian sports brand Macron.
