Eviota is a genus of reef-associated gobies currently with 48 described species distributed throughout the Indo-Pacific region. These are very small fishes (females of most species are sexually mature at a standard length of 15 mm or less) and many species are commonly called pygmy gobies, while some are known as fringefin gobies.
