Eveno-Bytantaysky National District (Russian: Эвено-Бытантайский национальный улу́с; Sakha: Эбээн-Бытантай улууһа) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion, or ulus), one of the thirty-four in the Sakha Republic, Russia. The area of the district is 52,300 square kilometers (20,200 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Batagay-Alyta.[2] District's population: 2,867 (2010 Census preliminary results);[5] 2,761 (2002 Census)у[9] Population of Batagay-Alyta accounts for 62.4% of the district's population.[9]
