Evangelos Oikonomou (born 18 July 1987) is a football (soccer) player who currently plays for Kavala FC in the Greek First Division.[1]
Oikonomou began his professional career by joing Ionikos F.C. in January 2005.[2]
Oikonomou is the starting left back for Kavala FC who had a great impact for his team during the great run of the club during the season 2009–2010. His speed and power along with his height render him as one of the most reliable left backs of the Greek Superleague. Given the chance he assists his team offensively through his great crossing and dribbling as well as his powerful left shot.
