Eusignius was a martyred Roman soldier. At the age 110, Eusignius converted to Christianity, and after refusing to sacrifice to the Roman gods, was beheaded in 362 at Antioch.[1]
Eusiginius is one of the 140 Colonnade saints which adorn St. Peter's Square.
