Etchu Tabe (b. 12 July 1986 in Buea, Cameroon) is an American football (soccer) player who currently plays in Veikkausliiga side RoPS. At 14, Tabe attended Baldwin High School (Milledgeville, Georgia) after moving to Georgia from Buea, Cameroon where his father was a professional football (soccer) player.[1] According to his home page, Tabe holds dual (United States/Cameroon) citizenship.

Career

College

Tabe played defender during his years 2 at Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon Georgia. He transferred to Georgia Southwestern State University where during his first year as a Junior led the team in goals scored. Tabe set a Georgia Southwestern record for goals and points with 10 and 26 respectively on his way to being named to the All-Conference team for the Peach Belt Conference.[2]

Professional

On 11 January 2008 signed with Ljungskile SK.[1]

In 2008 season, Tabe made 19 appearances for LSK,[3] and 24 (22 league) appearances in 2009. In February 2010, Tabe signed for Finnish Ykkönen club RoPS, Rovaniemi.
