Ernesto Goñi (born 13 January 1985 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan footballer who currently plays for Quilmes as a left back. His nickname is "Teto", an abbreviation of his name.
On August, 2005, he went to prove luck in the Sambenedettese Calcio of Italy but this didn't prospect.[1]
He had his debut in Uruguayan First Division on 2009 in Racing Club de Montevideo.
He is very popular in Uruguay because of his long throw-in ability. He is also a very tall player for his position, and he has excellent accuracy in his long passes into the area.
